Flow II, 2015, Oil on Canvas, 8 x 8 inches,
This was the first painting in a series of small abstracts that remind me of the turbulent waters of Lynn Canyon, in North Vancouver BC, where I grew up.
I had just purchased a new paintbrush unlike any I'd used before: a flat brush, cut on an angle, with a very crisp tip, which was made of smooth acrylic bristles. It was so versatile that got me experimenting with a variety of brush strokes.
This painting is available in an affordable black shadow-box wood frame, if you're buying it from me locally. Cost with frame is 5.
