During my final year at Emily Carr University, I was living on the Sunshine Coast of BC and taking a scenic 40 minute ferry ride each week to attend class. The BC Ferries logo on the funnel of the ferry appealed to me and I painted several pictures of it. This painting was done in a style that is not typical for me. It came out with a 'graphic design' quality which I enjoyed experimenting with.
